Teenager stabbed to death in fight named by police

A man who was stabbed to death in a fight outside a shop in Bradford has been named by police.

Mohammed Junaid Khan, 19, from Bradford, died at the scene while two other men, aged 24 and 27, received stab wounds following the incident on Loughrigg Street, off Newton Street in West Bowling, on Friday.

West Yorkshire Police previously said three of the eight men arrested - one aged 18 and two aged 24 - were being questioned on suspicion of murder.

Two 27-year-old men and two men, aged 24 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of affray, and a 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

One of the 27-year-old men arrested on suspicion of affray also received a stab wound to the chest and remains in a serious condition in hospital.

The 24-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder received a stab wound to the arm, which is not considered life-threatening.

Mr Khan's family released an image of him on Sunday, with police adding their investigations were continuing.
