Chris Stokes spent last season with Morecambe

Barrow have completed the g of Chris Stokes on a short-term deal.

The defender, 33, has ed the Bluebirds on an initial five-month contract, having been with Morecambe last season.

Stokes, who has featured in pre-season for Barrow, has played more than 400 games in his career for clubs including Coventry City, Forest Green Rovers and Kilmarnock.

"It’s a great club to be at so when it came up it was an exciting opportunity for myself," he told the club's website.
