Watch the goals as Raith Rovers triumph in Fife derby
Raith Rovers kept their promotion play-off hopes alive with a dominant derby victory over Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish Championship.
On-loan Heart of Midlothian midfielder Finlay Pollock latched on to a lovely outside-of-the-boot threaded from Dylan Easton to slot Barry Robson's Rovers into a deserved first-half lead.
The hosts had nearly been in front inside the first minute as Jamie Gullan cannoned a ferocious 30-yard free-kick off the crossbar.
It set the tone for a night when Michael Tidser's struggling Pars failed to trouble their Fife neighbours.
It was a matter of when, not if, for Rovers' second and it came through an unlikely source as former Hibernian centre-half Paul Hanlon stabbed home his first goal for the Stark's Park club.
The win takes Rovers to within four points of fourth-placed Partick Thistle - who they meet next week, live on BBC Scotland - in the final play-off spot.
Dunfermline's woes continue and they remain in the relegation play-off position, seven points ahead of bottom side Airdrieonians and one point behind eighth-placed Hamilton Academical, having played a game more than both.
Raith Rovers head coach Barry Robson: "I think we performed well. We looked like we were going to cut them open a lot in the first half.
"Finlay Pollock has done great, we've got the best out of him now and hopefully he can keep scoring goals. We've done well, we've been a bit inconsistent at times, but a lot of our performances have been good."
