If you're trying to find positives, they scored two tries and left two or three more out there. There is still a massive gulf between the two teams.
Leinster were patient and so aggressive in defence. The difference was they were ruthless with their chances; they scored seven tries and only left one or two more out there whilst Ulster left three or four.
That injury toll for Ulster is worrying too.

Ulster finish on the front foot but a knock on ends a tough night for Richie Murphy's men. They were very much in this one at half-time but Leinster's incredible strength in depth allowed them to pull away in the second half.
Ulster kept battling but they have been dealt some more injury blows tonight. A big night against The Sharks at the Kingspan Stadium awaits this day next week.

I don't believe it, he's got a hattrick! Another cross-field kick, this time from Sam Prendergast to Jimmy O'Brien gets Leinster in prime position. Scrum half Fintan Gunne switches play to the blind side and finds Dan Sheehan.
He still has around ten metres until the line with a couple of defenders to beat but there is nobody who has a nose for the line quite like Dan Sheehan and he powers over.
Prendergast's conversion drifts well wide as Leo Cullen may get some extra kicking practice done in training this week.

Some confusion after the kick is taken. The try cannot be overruled at that point but Ulster may have got away with one as Matthew Dalton may have spilled the ball in the phase before David McCann pushed over.
It all started with a perfect cross-field kick from Jack Murphy to Jacob Stockdale before Ulster went through the phases. The TMO looked at that play but with Murphy having already knocked the kick over there was nothing they could do anyway.

What's so impressive about Dan Sheehan is not just the number of tries that he scores, but the variety.
In the corner, off a maul, through a gap? It just doesn't matter. He's a machine.

The man is just a magnet to the try line. The hooker goes over again after an error at the lineout from his opposite number Tom Stewart. The Ulster man's overthrow is seized upon by a blue shirt.
The ball is worked wide to Liam Turner who makes good ground before it is switched back inside. Sam Prendergast plays a zippy flat to Sheehan who powers over from close range.
Prendergast knocks over the extras from straight in front. A Sheehan try and Prendergast conversion. We've already seen plenty of those in blue and green and there will be be many many more to come in the future I'm sure.

Some battered and bruised bodies out there as Jacob Stockdale is testing out a freshly-strapped ankle while RG Snyman will cause concern as he tests out a knee.

Sam Prendergast is the latest international to us as he replaces Robbie Henshaw. Fintan Gunne and Liam Turner are also on while Tom O'Toole returns for Ulster as Callum Reid looks as though he has jarred his knee.
The camera pans to the players NOT in the Leinster squad today and it is quite simply an embarrassment of riches!

Great piece of play from Leinster, they have been ruthless, that is their first chance since their last try. It's important for the rest of the season that Ulster don't let this spiral and turn into a cricket score. They need to focus on getting three more tries for the losing bonus-point.

Goodness gracious me what a score! Another bit of magic from Tommy O'Brien. The bandaged winger gets on the end of Ciaran Frawley's chip and chase beating both John Cooney and Nathan Doak to it.
He is surrounded by white shirts but shows incredible vision and even better skill to pick out the free-scoring hooker Dan Sheehan on the right wing with a banana kick from the outside of his boot.
It is perfectly-weighted as it bounces straight into Sheehan's bread basket over the line. Frawley misses the conversion as his poor night off the tee continues but it probably won't matter.

Will Ulster look back and rue these moments? After going through 14 phases, Nathan Doak was tackled out wide right and James Culhane is on the ball like a limpet.
Penalty Leinster and they are now in the Ulster half.
Oh and Joe McCarthy is off and replaced by RG Snyman... incredible depth.

Ulster go to the corner but they waste the opportunity as Tom Stewart's five metre lineout isn't straight.

Ulster make a pair of changes themselves in the second row as Matthew Dalton and Kieran Treadwell replace Cormac Izuchukwu and Alan O'Connor.
David McCann also returns from the bin as Leinster are penalised for collapsing the maul. No card though as captain Luke McGrath receives a formal warning to take back to his pack.
Ulster are very much in the Leinster red zone.
