You've got to ire the ambitions of Bristol in spreading it wide because it's a very difficult way to play in these conditions. They're trying to play the Bristol way but the wind is swirling around.

Whoever can get to grips with the conditions will get the upper hand in this game.

Ellis Genge seems to coping well with Rabah Slimani at the scrums, the Leinster prop has given away a few to his opposite number.

Leinster's Sam Prendergast tries to take advantage of the wind with a long kick to the try line, but Bristol get back in time. It's a surprise that so far neither team has tried to use the wet and windy conditions too much.

Josh van der Flier darts down the blindside and is tackled just short of the line, but as Bristol pile in, Leinster knock it forward.

Jamison Gibson-Park is offside at the scrum, and the referee gives skipper Jack Conan a severe ticking off.

There's a spell of back and forth from both sides until a fine rolling kick to the right touchline from Harry Randall puts Leinster back under pressure in their own half.

The Bears are doing well in the scrum, winning a full penalty that Van Rensburg elects to chip to touch.

They win their line-out but then Leinster turn it over in the maul less than five metres out. The hosts will be disappointed not to get anything from such a great position, but Leinster's defence is very, very solid.

Leinster win it back when Ronan Kelleher scrags Harry Randall, but Jack Bates then makes ground with a fine low kick to get the Bears back into the Leinster 22.

Bristol steal a lineout on halfway, they retain it through a few phases but Leinster peg them to the halfway line.

It looks like BJ van Rensburg has moved to fly-half., he then hoofs a penalty into the Leinster half as the hosts try to apply some pressure of their own.

That's such a shame to see MacGinty go off so early because he is such a class player for this Bristol team.

What a game we are in for tonight - it's going to be a magnificent European encounter.

Just look at the names the Bristol team are up against.

The lights have been dimmed, the light show goes into full effect, "Right here, right now" is blasting out and the sides are in the tunnel. They are really giving this the big build up - and why not?
