"I thought we did a lot of good stuff, Leinster did a really good job converting pressure into points when they got into our 22. Fair play to them.

"I thought we could have snatched a draw there in the end but there was probably a poor call from myself in a line-out but Max Deegan fair play to him for stealing that."

On positives to take:

"It was tit-for-tat at times. Maybe more converting more pressure into points and we'll be in a good place.

"We're still conceding penalties that are allowing access into our 22. Discipline's a big thing for us. We're definitely working on that. We go again with a couple of big games coming up soon."

Leinster's player of the match Jimmy O'Brien speaking to BBC Sport NI:

"It's always tough up here, we lost last year and we're delighted to get the win.

"I thought our pack was brilliant. They're unbelievable. Us backs weren't getting much ball and they got us going forward and put a lot of effort in.

"I love playing up here, the crowd's very hostile. It's a good thing and it brings you together so we're delighted to get out with a win."

On his try:

"I didn't have to do much to be fair. I saw the space and Jordan [Larmour] had a class offload to me but I was delighted to get over the line."

James Culhane's score put a converted try between the sides and Ulster ultimately had no try.

Leinster defeat Ulster 20-27 in Belfast after a tight contest.

A hard fought win in the end for Leo Cullen's men and a losing bonus point as a consolation for the hosts.

Ulster went in with a narrow 13-10 lead at the break.

However, second half tries from Jordan Larmour, Jimmy O'Brien and James Culhane secured the win for the visitors.

A spirited Ulster performance and second half try from Ben Carson was not enough and Leinster leave Belfast deserved winners.
