Finally from Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy on his Foxes future: "If you look at the job, my job, I'm responsible for the good of the football club. It could be an opportunity to start planning early, which would have benefited the club.

"It is not about me and my future - it's about what's good for the club. Of course, it is up to them with how they want to deal with it. Then I will focus and continue to do so over the coming days. That's the job.

"They (Leicester's board) know what I think and how I see things - it is up to them to respond to that. We will all find out, hopefully sooner rather than later."

He added: "Those six weeks we have been working on a certain development and preparation for next season.

"That came with development of individuals, with [positive] results and good performance, closing cycles, and bringing some positivity to the . That is what my focus is."

Leicester City

Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy on Leicester's : "Of course, what we have to do and what we want to do is give them something to cheer about. That's the most important thing we have to do."

On whether there's any new injuries to Leicester's squad: "No. We can go to Bournemouth with a similar squad [to that which beat Ipswich 2-0]."

Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy on Sunday's approach changing without Jamie Vardy: "I think the way we play it won't change a lot because the 10 players around the striker position are clear how we want to play on and off the ball.

"I think filling in that position with another striker won't require a lot of difference in the type [of striker].

"It depends on who fills it in. Patson Daka is a type who also makes the deep runs. He is also quick in transitions."

On whether he reads articles about him leaving: "Yes, I do actually. I read them and I go back to my job because that's what I'm here for. That's what my responsibility is and what my drive is - to prepare for the game on Sunday with the players.

"Six weeks ago, I came into this room and changed the narrative on the season - shaping the future, bringing in academy players. We had to because of the relegation.

"Those six weeks have been development and results. That's something I want to continue with the players.

"We wanted to break some cycles which we also achieved, bring some positives towards the end of the season and take it into the new season. Now it's the last game on Sunday and we're focused on that."

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler confirmed Georginio Rutter and Joao Pedro are unavailable for selection.

Rutter is injured while Pedro missed the Seagulls' win over Liverpool on Monday after a reported training ground altercation with team-mate Jan Paul van Hecke., external

"There are non-negotiables that we have to stick to. We don't make any compromises," Hurzeler said.

With just one game left to play of the Premier League season, Brighton and Brentford retain hope of playing in Europe next season.

As things stand, at least nine English teams will feature in European competition, but certain results could make it 10. As it stands, the club finishing eighth have a chance of qualifying for the Conference League.

Brighton are currently, but they need Chelsea to finish seventh and then win the Conference League final on Wednesday.

Manchester City and coach Pep Guardiola will be looking forward to the end of this campaign on Sunday.

The side failed to win a major trophy for the first time in eight years and a point against Fulham in their last game of the Premier League season will avoid the unthinkable of not qualifying for the Champions League.

Guardiola is set to hold his final pre-match news conference of the season and could be asked about Phil Foden's omission from the England squad.

Rodri returned to action on Tuesday after being out with a serious knee injury, so how pleased was the Spanish boss at seeing his compatriot's return and how much have they missed him?
